Software License & Terms of Use

Effective date: 3 April 2026  ·  Last updated: 3 April 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the GLO-Global Candidate Assessment Portal (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. These terms constitute a binding agreement between you (or your organisation) and GLO-Global ("GLO", "we", "us").

2. Description of Service

The Service is an AI-assisted candidate assessment platform that generates structured leadership reports from uploaded CVs, job descriptions, and LinkedIn profile data. Reports include job-match matrices, DISC leadership profiles, GLO Leadership Effectiveness Assessments (GLO LEA), and Big Five OCEAN personality profiles. Reports are generated for internal talent acquisition and recruitment purposes only.

3. Licence Grant

Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, GLO grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes. You may not sublicense, resell, or make the Service available to third parties without prior written consent from GLO.

4. Permitted Use & Restrictions

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

  • Use the Service to process candidate data without a legitimate legal basis under applicable data protection law (including GDPR).
  • Upload data belonging to individuals who have not been informed that their data will be processed by an AI system.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying AI models or algorithms.
  • Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service in excess of your subscription quota.
  • Share login credentials with individuals outside your organisation.
  • Use reports as the sole basis for hiring or rejection decisions without human review and judgment.

5. AI-Generated Content & Limitations

Reports generated by the Service are produced by large language models (LLMs) and are advisory in nature only. They do not constitute professional psychological assessments, clinical evaluations, or legally binding opinions. GLO makes no warranty that reports are accurate, complete, or free from error. You are solely responsible for all hiring decisions made using the Service. Reports must always be reviewed by a qualified human assessor before being used to inform employment decisions.

6. Data Protection & GDPR

You are the data controller for any personal data you upload to the Service. GLO acts as a data processor on your behalf. By using the Service, you confirm that:

  • You have a legitimate basis under GDPR (or applicable law) to process the candidate's personal data.
  • You have informed the candidate that their data will be processed by an AI system for assessment purposes.
  • You will not retain AI-generated reports beyond the period necessary for the recruitment process.

Candidate data uploaded to the Service is processed transiently and is not stored beyond the report generation process, in accordance with the principle of data minimisation. Generated reports are automatically scheduled for deletion after 90 days. You may delete reports earlier at any time from your dashboard.

7. Subscription, Fees & Payment

Access to the Service is provided on a subscription basis. Fees are charged in advance for each billing period. All payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise GLO to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. GLO reserves the right to modify pricing with 30 days' written notice.

8. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Service, including the underlying models, software, and branding, remain the exclusive property of GLO-Global. Generated reports are owned by you, subject to the licence restrictions in Section 3. You grant GLO a limited licence to process your uploaded data solely to provide the Service.

9. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public information received from the other party in connection with the Service. This obligation does not apply to information that is publicly available, independently developed, or required to be disclosed by law.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. GLO does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reports will meet your specific requirements.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GLO's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. In no event shall GLO be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. GLO may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your licence to use the Service ceases and any outstanding fees become immediately due.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brussels, Belgium.

14. Changes to Terms

GLO reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via the Service. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
